Hi Alan,
I just want to thank you for taking the time to speak with us here... this forum has been great for me personally as it has allowed me to discover how other Kcer's deal with their respective treatments. I can imagine that you also can gain an envaluable personal insight just by discussing kc with the members here. I very much look forward to reading your advice and opinions :)

Regards,
Hari

hello everybody,

sorry i didn`t write for so long but there are so many things happened.as i told you ,my boyfriend had his spectacles done last month and he was really surprised they DO work very well.he can see almost everything with them, almost like when he wears contacts.even he can drive with glasses which is great(but only during the day).afterward he went back to our country(Bulgaria) just to make a consultation with someone else and to try to make cheaper lensses(because we know they will be temporary).the doctor in Bulgaria told him his eyes recover very fast after the x-linking and probably there won`t be anymore changes, but still it might be some.also she made him lensses which fits very well, especially left one,and he see nice and clear as before.
we are looking forward for our next third month follow up to see what the Dr will tell us(end of september).
at the end i can say i feel very calm and relaxed after all this.i`m very happy we decided to go for x-linking and i want to tell everybody who went through this or are on their way to do so,GO FOR IT! :)

wish you a very best

Mariya

Well done, that is fabulous news! A great team effort by all ...mostly by you ...thanks for supporting a Kcer and keep us up-to-date on his progress right until his last follow up or even beyond that. (Every KCer even those who wear glasses and had no treatment should get there KC checked at least once a year as routine)

Let us know how things go from time to time... thing can only improve, if they do, as there is still time to go in the recovery

A very up-lifting story... thanks for sharing!
