hi guys i am am optometry student in ireland . i have kc in both eyes wear piggy back lenses on le little trouble va good. re bit of a mess hydrops through central area of descemets bit of a mess scar wise. i am due to have my op o n the 16th of june but i must return to hospital placement 3 weeks later , is this an unrealistix expectation, i have been reading on other sites 6 weeks is the minumum people are taking to recovery from the surgery , i am aware the healing takes a lot longer , do u think i should rearrange time ??

I think we are talking weeks to months, and to be on the safe side, you will need to take rest from (sudden, unplanned or potential) any great amount of physical activity and you will need use your prescribed eye drops daily at regular intervals. I hope things went smoothly.
