Mini Ark or Diamond Optical Surgery

Hello Everyone,
I am in contact with both doctors on these 2 procedures. Has anybody had either of these procedures done? If so how much of an improvement did you get? If anybody has any information on either of these 2 procedures please post them. Its going to cost me alot of money to travel from California to either location so I want to be sure I am making the right decision.
Thank You,
Brett

Brett,

1) look at published papers - who has more ?

2) Experience - who has more ?

3) The type done in hungery, is longer cuts, which means an over correction is more possible ? - ask each Doctor about it ?

4) night time/low light vision troubles - ask on this too !

These topics may help you to get to where you want to be

Kane

Thanks a lot Kane,
I think I have my answer.  If I am a candidate for for Mini ark I will be going to Italy.  The other doctor will not release any information on results because of a privacy to his patients.  Have you had Mini ark?  I see a lot of supporters in this forum which is very nice.
thank you and take care,
Brett

Hi Brett,

I know others who had mini ark and they are doing so well they are now living with out the kc vision they once had, and so have gone to live their lifes (which is the main thing after all). I have not had mini ark as I am lucky enough to be able wear glasses without much trouble.

All the very best

Kane

Hi Brett,

I would just like to clarify for everyone that Dr. Artsybashev will not release the name, address, telephone number, or email address of any of his patients. That would violate their confidentiality. The doctor does show statistics and results of operations to patients who wish to see them during the consultation.

Peter
