Hello Im in month 9 now, there is a delay in the corneal haze so all I need is that to go away and Im good with glasses, soft contacts, or special soft – hard contacts.

I have a question how can you have kc and have 20/20 vision, I assume its 20/20 blurry vision right.

For full recovery it's 6 months to one year, but much more closer either way to 6 months for the many.

RECOVERY DAY 77.

VISION:
I must say that day by day the benefits of this treatment is becoming more and more realized. As my vision is not perfect, I must admit that I have journeyed a far distance from where I use to be. Starting point being legally blind.
In visiting my Ophthalmologist, I have gained yet another line of improvement in my vision (Uncorrected). OD (right) I'm 20/40 and OS (Left) is 20/30. As these were basically the results since my last evaluation in Jamaica, in being more thoroughly examined in Miami, made the results more solidified if you know what I mean. The exams there are more thorough and able to examine the status of progress in the healing process. Dr. Trattler intimated that everything was coming on very nicely and that my vision will or better yet, should continue to improve.

MEDICATION:
He told me to finish up what I had left of the Durezol, and then he would step me down to Pred Forte for only a ONCE per day instillation while instructing me to maintain using the Alphagan P and RESTASIS TWICE per day.
Everything else appears to be progressing nicely. There are no abnormalities or aberrations with the state of my Cornea/Eyes nor with my vision. Obviously, there are still ghostings present. However so, its not nearly as pronounced as in the previous weeks. With the use of the RESTASIS and usage of two plugs per eye, the situation with my dry eye has been resolved. Not to say that the problem doesn't exist anymore, but it appears to be vastly better than before. The only thing that gets annoying every now and again is the fact that I have to be constantly walking around with a tissue in my pocket so as to why my eye from the tears that have no where really else to go than down my cheeks. Small price to pay.

I will be paying my Optometrist a visit so as determine the best CORRECTED option there is. I have not used my contacts in a few weeks so I m not exactly sure if the problem of my eyes burning still exists after the insertion of my contact lens. When asking Dr. Trattler about it, his response was that he was not certain of what it could be.

As for my haze, it appears to still exist in both eyes. More pronounced in my left of course. Dr. Trattler didnt really allay my concerns with that. He did however mention somewhere in our conversation that its not a problem and it still does expect it to abate in the ensuing months. He continues to remind me to wear my sunglasses while outside seeing that the UV rays can be the cause of the problem.
In end, everything again appears to be going well. As to whether or not these results will continue to improve, no one really knows but the signs are pointing in that direction. I guess I will however keep my fingers crossed and faith unswayed that this endeavor was in search of Miracle and nothing less.

I wish everyone to achieve this miracle because, I cannot intimate as to how much life becomes better once you can see it through a transparent lens vs an opaque/translucent one.

Ah quintrix,,, thats a tough question.... Im looking at argentina.. Great team.. Plus, who can ignore their attribute of having Messi... As for the couch..... who can ignore the Mighty maradonna.... Wicked!!! The man still has the same hair style from 20=25 years ago ..lol
In the back ground, I ll go for the south african and the USA, only merely because they are grossly the underdogs in achieving any ascent to the finals...
As for US vs UK..... I m hoping that there s an upset... its been too long since the last upset.
How about you? Who are you championing....?

Thanks for your enduring support and kind words..... Ill keep you all informed.

International football has "leveled off" - they all are not bad at all at football these days !

I just would love to see the brazilians put on a real treat for us football fans like we know they can!

As for Maradonna - we still can not forget his "hand of God". furious

We could see an upset happening with an unknown getting to the final, I like going for underdogs, it is just really 11 men verses 11 men after all.

Good to see the US of A and England get off to a good start today with an out and out draw smile
