I came across your post when I googled if warm salt water fixed Keratoconus... Ive been researching everything trying to find a cure and a reason as to why I have this aweful disease. Your Annology makes sense but I have a question that came across while reading your post. After seeing 11 therapist, what made you continue seeing massage therapist when you weren't even sure if this was the cure or not?

I would say the reason why I kept seeing massage therapist was a combination of reasons. One, was I noticed when laying in bed, I would look at the light coming through the slates of my window blinds, and I'd see what I'd call the double / ghosts vision / drop down ghosting of what I'd be looking at. I down know if everyone has this, but for example at night when looking at the moon , or anything else I'd have a drop down50-100 percent ghost image of what ever I was looking at. Hard to explain, by writing here, if most people who have karataconus have this messy up their eyesight. Then you'll know what I mean. Anyway while laying in bed looking at the light coming through the blinds I noticed if I squeezed my temples I could make this ghosting vision effect worse. Hence I thought of the pressure on a balloon. The second reason why I stuck with it was, I was desperate and trying to cling onto something, to fix me. The third reason probably was even though 10-11 massage therapist sound like a lot it really wasn't considering the options and being as despairate I was, also I was born and living in boulder Colorado, the land of massage therapist yoga and alternative medicine, And although I wasn't into all of that stuff at the time, I wasn't against the idea that there might be more to healing than just modern medicine. Forth, I looked at retina replacements, and how the medical community would say at the time this was going on for me, gee it will take this long for your transplant to heal and then a lot of times they will go bad after awhile too. At least that's how I remember it from 20 years ago. My thought was this, if your cars spark plug keeps going bad, it's not the spark plugs fault( ie the eye/retina) it's something else causing the spark plug - eye/ retina to go bad. My opinion was I need to find the root cause to why my retina was conning out. Not just swap one in and have it cone out too. That's why I kept trying I guess, and for me I either found out a reason or just got lucky. Best of luck to you too!

Thank you so much for your response. Again, your Analogy makes perfect sense and I will give it a try starting next Friday when I'm off work. I will keep you posted on if this works or not. PS: I've always had sinus problems/ post nasal drips that no medicine could ever seems to "dry up" so I'm excited to try this technique. I'm at the point now where I'll try anything! If this works we must make it known to the world, I will do everything in my power to make it happen. Sincerely. -Eric

Kirk, so I did the craneal massage This past Sunday, it was a soft a fluffy one but the masseuse mentioned that she does not need to do an intense one as long as she's hitting the pressure points. I haven't seen any improvement in my vision but again this is my first one. What I've noticed though is that my post nasal drips is running more frequently, I'm waking up with my nose stuffy and having a constant feeling that I need to blow my nose. I will be visiting maybe this Sunday again because I've felt changes even though my bison have not improved. -Eric
