I'm not sure what I can do now guys and I'd like some advice.

Technically my progression has stopped but I have no visual acuity whatsoever and my ghosting is unbearable.

I am unable to wear glasses as the KC is too far gone. I have just tried contact lenses with my prescription and makes it worse if anything due to the steep inferior cone. I have tried the specialist KC lens with a hard centre and soft edge. I know that on paper my KC doesn't look bad in comparison to others who have probably more astigmatism but I am unable to see anything with clarity out my left eye. I've had this condition now for 10 years and I think the only achievement has been stopping progression.

The only thought I'm having is what about a cornea transplant. Simply down to trying all lenses with no outcome, the ghosting is unbearable, and I have had a headache for the past 5 years since the ghosting first appeared.

What are people's thoughts to this?

Take a look at this site on the section for KC. This following link has a diagram on the end of the page which may help you to know your options http://www.allan.vu/procedures/keratoconus/
