Intacts and CrossLinking in one operation...painful??

Hi,

I'm scheduled to have intacts in both eyes and cross-linking in my left eye also at the same time.  My doctor said it would all be pretty painful but only for a few days.  My pain threshold is pretty low and so, I'm extremely nervous about what this might mean for me.

Can anyone share their experiences if you've done this?

Thanks

You should ask for and get the required numbing drops and pain killers for the post operative pain. Sometimes a "bandage" contact lens is used so as you blick it does not touch the cornea whilst its healing.

In most cases, its worse thinking about the possible pain than the pain level it self. Good luck.
