Insight about Mini-RK (note its RK not ARK or Mini-ARK)

Note this is not in the relation to KC, but its good that they are thinking of the "mini" aspect.

"There is a school of thought in the USA that newer types of RK with much shorter incisions such as Mini and/or Midi RK do not suffer from the serious structural weakening of earlier forms of RK operations. The more modern operations are said not to have the same risk of future progressive farsightedness."

The weaking can be countered with using x linking after or before mini-ARK, good method if you can't wear (not at all your) contacts or any contacts (and facing surgery of some sort) is mini ark although its for moderate cases as optimum correction can be reached with out any additional contacts/glasses needed. But its surgery, and they all seem to be surgery once you get to a point. Its the least invasive and something to consider... it specialist... and only experianced surgeons can under-take the operation. Which means overseas travel. Some may think its too much to ask (and rightly so... it is their eyes after all)... others not...
